The specialist dentist determines whether the patient is suitable for implant treatment. If it is concluded that the bone structure is suitable for implant treatment in the measurements made, the application phase is started. If the bone structure and gums are not able to carry the implant, additional bone surgery may be performed. The implants are placed into the bone by the dentist with a small surgical operation under local anesthesia. After this procedure, an average of 2-4 months is waited for the implant to fuse with the jawbone. In cases where the bone level is sufficient and there is no inflammatory condition, the implant can be placed in the area on the same day immediately after tooth extraction. During this time, the implant acquires the function of a real tooth root. In the last stage, the prosthesis is placed on the new tooth root formed by the implants and the treatment is completed.

What are the Advantages of Implant Treatment?

      • While the missing tooth or teeth are completed, the healthy neighboring teeth are not touched. There is no cutting of healthy teeth.
      • It provides complete efficiency both aesthetically and functionally. The person to whom the treatment is applied regains chewing function and has an aesthetic appearance.
      • Implants do not feel like an excess in the mouth. They look and feel like real teeth.
      • It is extremely durable. If oral and dental care is fulfilled, it can be used for many years, even for life.

In Which Situations Is Implant Applied?

In cases of single or multiple tooth deficiency or complete tooth deficiency caused by trauma, decay, gum disease, etc., in cases where a fixed prosthesis cannot be applied, it is used to prevent the existing prosthesis from moving in the mouth.
